The information this composition is based on includes data from the abridged résumé that Clara sent us in 2009 to include it in the catalogue for Abstract Realities, an exhibition we did with her in Berlin and that involved the presentation of the first works from our “social geometry” series, whose compositions are based on statistical data. To this data provided by Clara, we have added a publication (our catalogue from 2013) and an exhibition (one from 2013 by José Ruiz, a friend who introduced Clara to us). The date of the graph extends to the present, including the Clara Project as part of her public life. The translation of data into graphics invariably involves some tweaking or interpretation. Here we want to represent Clara’s professional and vocational life through the information she considered relevant and through what connects us with her. The colours chosen for the graphic –yellow for exhibitions, red for publications, and violet for the intersection of both– are colours Clara always treasured, colours of love for the Republic.
